This podcast discusses Chapter 4 and Assignment 4 and also talks about the first test that will take place on Thursday, February 9 in room IB 3406. I'll be putting a study guide online next week to help you focus your studying.

IT 111 Podcast Jan 11, 2006
It looks like my podcast postings will happen on Wednesdays unless something come up. This week's podcast has a few course updates and a quick overview of the assignments that will be due next week. I'll continue providing a transcript in case you would rather read than listen.
Still hoping that more of you will try Gizmo Project and call me on my computer. The instructions are in the course ePacket.
Finally, check out the tutorials before you tackle the assignment. They should help you a lot.

IT 111 Podcast Jan 4, 2006
Since I want to use podcasts in this class, I thought it would be good to create one for the orientation in order to demonstrate it. I don't know how many people have heard of or used podcasts before.
In the first podcast, I gave an update on the textbook and the course ePacket, discussed the assignments that were going to be due the first week, and welcomed everyone. It was about 3 and a half minutes long.

If you have "podcatcher" software like iPodder, you can subscribe to the Podcasts and get them automatically when they are published. More about iPodder and "podcatcher" software later.
